Growing up as a “Third Culture Kid”, I was blissfully exposed to so many different and diverse environments, and as a child, I always wanted to capture my family’s treasured moments. I have been interested in photography since I was very young, but never have I thought that I would turn this hobby into a career. When it was time for me to move to Saudi Arabia after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from California, I held a number of corporate positions related to my areas of interest with reputable companies in Jeddah. However, I was never comfortable with or attracted to the idea of a desk job and fixed hours. With the constant support of my family and friends, I took the decision to turn this passion into a profession back in 2012 by submitting my resignation letter to my employer, and researching the necessary equipment required to pursue this dream. I purchased my first set of “Strobe Lights” and started to experiment with my friends a models. With time, practice, and a lot of positive and motivational feedback, I took initiative to go public by creating my social media accounts and website. To be completely honest, I was very intimidated to take this huge step, nonetheless, a close friend made the decision to hire me and encouraged me to shoot her sister’s wedding back in February 2012, and that is when I can declare that I have officially launched my photography career. Taking the decision to fly solo and start your own business is not an easy decision to make, and without the support system provided by my family and friends, I would not be where I am today, and for them, I am forever grateful to be here, capturing their priceless moments and having fun while I am at it.
It is true when I say "I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for the support of family and friend who believed in me."
Thank you for each and every person who has been and still continuing on being a positive impact on my life.
